2015 Nissan Rogue is the second generation Rogue that is characterized by a smoother design and extended dimensions. It is available in three trims – S, SV, and SL. It competes with Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.

Exterior and Interior

It is a 4-door SUV with a wheelbase of 106.5 inches. It is 182.3 inches long, 72.4 inches wide and 67.5 inches high. Curb weight is 3605 pounds. You can choose from exterior colors like brilliant silver, Sahara sun, super black, pearl white and midnight jade. This version has Arctic Blue Metallic instead of Graphite blue. In comparison to its predecessor, this model has a more elegant design. It is striking because of the eye-catching, metal trim bordering of the side-windows, LED daytime running lights, rear spoiler and taillights with polished looks. The V-shaped grille having floating Nissan badge is outstanding. The aerodynamic design fights air resistance and helps to get a better mileage.

Engine and Mileage

It uses a 2.5 liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine as standard for all the trims. The gas-based engine generates 170 horsepower @ 6,000 rpm and a torque of 175 lb.-ft. @ 4,400 rpm. It has an all-wheel drive and Xtronic continuously variable-speed automatic transmission. It offers city/highway mileage of 25/32 mpg.

Rogue is available at the starting price of $23,040 while SV and SL cost $24,490 and $28,280 respectively. It will be released in the US market in mid-2015.
